Target Audience Results

I got 6 people to fill in my survey, then I took a printscreen of my results.

He isn't really 'awesome', he's caucasian.

Overall this shows that to cater for my target audience I should include alternative and rock genres of music even though none of the people who filled in my survey fit in the typical emo-ish subculture that you would assume they might. Also, the majority of the results say more pictures is preferable to more text. Four people said they have been to 3 - 4 gigs in the past year, meaning that I could include a gig guide as a cover line and that could be fairly popular - this also fits in with an answer to 'what would make you buy a magazine rather than looking online for music news?' which was to have a gig guide. Also included were free gifts, pictures, standing out and having articles other magazines don't. I found out from this survey that they don't generally read magazines so if I included news about a website, that would be up-to-date too.
